I'm a CS Masters student at University of Waterloo, supervised by Prof. Yaoliang Yu. My research interests are in machine learning, focused on optimization, robustness and interpretability.
My work is supported by Vector Scholarship in Artificial Intelligence and David R. Cheriton Graduate Scholarship
My bachelor’s degree was also at Waterloo, with majors in Computer Science and Combinatorics & Optimization, and minor in Cognitive Science , during which I built software at Facebook, LinkedIn, and “Unicorn” and YC-backed startups. I was active in some student communities.
Before that, I grew up in China, Japan and Canada. I spent a large part of childhood in Tsukuba, Japan until 14, where I learned about friendship, and right and wrong. （経歴）
